1. Shake well. Unscrew cap and remove foil seal (discard seal). Place the bottle in the middle of your microwave for 10-15 seconds to ensure that the temperature strip reads between 94-100 degrees F. If the temperature strip does not indicate the correct temperature immediately, don’t panic. It can take 15 – 40 seconds for the temperature strip to give an accurate reading. Try shaking the bottle to ensure heat is evenly distributed, allow a few seconds to reach a suitable temperature of 94 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature is still not met, reheat the sample for 5–10 seconds to achieve the desired temperature.
   If after second attempt, the XStream Urine is not giving you a temperature reading, but is obviously hot, unscrew the cap and allow the product to cool down.
2. After heating, screw on the flip cap provided and shake the bottle to eliminate any sediment that might have settled on the bottom of the bottle.
3. Remove the enclosed heat pad from the plastic pouch and shake it to activate heat. Peel off the adhesive and attach the heat pad (or rubber band heat pad) on the opposite side of the bottle from the temperature strip. This will ensure an accurate temperature reading. Leave the heat pad on the bottle, as it can last up to 8 hours. You can re–heat it multiple times to maintain a comfortable temperature of 94–100 degrees.
   Note: If a microwave is unavailable, you can also use the included heating pad to warm the urine to normal body temperature. Please be advised that this could take up to an hour- allow for this one hour time frame to ensure quality.
